We record your IP address, an approximate location (city/region derived from your IP), the pages you view, and the website you arrived from. If you submit an inquiry or application, we may associate this browsing activity with your inquiry so our brokers can serve you better. We retain this data only as long as needed for these purposes, and you may ask us to access or delete it (see "Your Rights" below).
. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying
for assistance. We will not sell your mobile information, and we will not share your mobile information or SMS consent with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
We share your application information with mortgage lenders and financial institutions as necessary to secure financing — this is fundamental to our brokerage service. We also work with trusted service providers including credit reporting agencies, property appraisal companies, legal professionals, and technology and hosting providers. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or court order.
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, you have the right to access your personal information and request corrections if it is inaccurate. You may withdraw consent for certain uses of your data, though this may limit our ability to provide services. You may also request a copy of your information in an electronic format, or ask us to delete your information subject to legal and business retention requirements. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at the address below.
We protect your personal information using industry-standard security measures including 256-bit SSL encryption for all data in transit, secure servers with regular updates, access controls and staff training on privacy practices, and secure document storage and transmission systems. No system is 100% secure, but we use reasonable commercial efforts to safeguard your information. Mortgage-related information is typically retained for seven years after completion of services, in accordance with Canadian financial regulations.
